VRRDA SELF-ISOLATION DANCE CHALLENGE

Are you up for this challenge?

While Covid-19 keeps you stuck at home, teach yourself the authentic ‘50s Rock’n’Roll line dance “The Madison”.

Then, when venues open again, we can all dance it together.

There are heaps of videos on YouTube that show the various steps.

“Madison Time” by the Ray Bryant Combo is the music to use, with Baltimore DJ Eddie Morrison calling the steps.

This YouTube clip one is probably the easiest to follow

But there a heaps more.  Here is original footage of embarrassed looking kids on a 1960’s TV show, but to a different song.

The footage from “Hairspray” is nice and clear but they leave out moves, like the “Cleveland Box”:

NO BUG IS GOING TO HOLD ROCK DANCERS BACK!  SEE YOU ON THE DANCE FLOOR.
